Open Question: Who will win the Academy Award 4 Documentary Short?

Here are the nominees: "The Barber of Birmingham: Foot Soldier of the Civil Rights Movement" Robin Fryday & Gail Dolgin "God Is the Bigger Elvis" Rebecca Cammisa & Julie Anderson "Incident in New Baghdad" James Spione "Saving Face" Daniel Junge & Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy "The Tsunami & the Cherry Blossom" Lucy Walker & Kira Carstensen I was unable to find video, not even the trailer, for "God Is the Bigger Elvis." But I learned it's about a film actress who becomes a nun. The other 4 short docs have trailers on YouTube if you type the movie names (except "Saving Face"). Visit www.savingfacefilm.com. Quite a range of innovative, provocative topics: a Wikileaks video of an Iraqi battle, Pakistani women whose faces are scarred from acid attacks, a common domestic dispute there, the tsunami catastrophe in Japan & the miraculous cherry blossoms, & an unsung hero of the civil rights movement. I think the winner could be "The Tsunami & the Cherry Blossom" which has perhaps the worst tragedy of last year fresh in their minds & that sign of hope (the cherry blossoms) can sweeten the deal. Man, I wish I could watch these documentary shorts. I hope FLICS hosts a festival featuring the nominees. So what do you think? Thumbs up if you saw any of the doc shorts.
